SculpSure delivers laser energy to heat the fat beneath your skin. That heat damages some fat cells in the treatment area. The damaged fat cells are eliminated by the body over several months, through your lymphatic system.
When the treatment begins it will feel warm, you may also experience the sensation of pins and needles or a prickly sensation. The heat sensation will intermittently increase to short periods of deep tissue heating, alternating with being comfortably warm. These sensations are normal and expected and indicate that the laser is effectively targeting and damaging the fat layer. We can adjust the treatment to your tolerance/comfort level, but results are generally inversely proportional to comfort.
