Government Guidance - UPDATE
The government has issued new guidance on the numbers able to attend church services based on a number of factors and a review of the Risk Assessment criteria which still includes the 2 metre distancing requirement.
The 2 metre distance is not required between members of the same household or extended household group,
or between a carer and the person assisted by the carer.
We have reviewed the risk assessment and concluded that the MAXIMUM we can accept in Doune is 40, Callander is 30.
THIS CALCULATION is also conditional on a number of other factors. e.g each seat can accept up to 6 people in one household or extended household BUT a household may be only One or Two people etc , so once that seat is booked e.g. a single occupant, then no one else can be seated alongside due to the spacing requirements.
If you know of Parishoners who do not have internet access, please assist by booking online for them. PLEASE ENSURE THAT it is their NAME and Telephone details that are used, as this may be required for the NHS Scotland Track and Trace process if required or telephone Father Leszek - 01877330702
This process and numbers attending also applies to Funerals and Weddings held in the Parish.
First Communions and Christenings can take place as part of a scheduled act of worship a limited number of seats will be made available to accommodate families, in these circumstances.
Seating - Doune has 14 - Callander has 10
This means we have to count the seats booked and the number of occupants to keep the numbers within the legal requirements.
The doors or windows will still have to remain open to allow air flow which as the weather improves is not an issue
but remember to wrap up warm if the weather is cooler.
REMEMBER FACTS – the basic but really important rules that underpin the approach to tackling this virus right now.
PLEASE READ THIS INSTRUCTION CAREFULLY.
If you intend to use this form to register a place at Holy Mass for more than one person i.e. a Family. You MUST sit together in one row. Maximum is 6 people in one seat. THIS will allow us to use the available limited space in the churches to have as many people as possible that we are allowed under the GUIDANCE to attend. EVERYONE MUST HAVE a contact number to meet GUIDANCE requeirments for NHS Track & Trace.
