The “Metadata Management and Distribution System for Multiple GNSS Networks” (M3G) is a publicly available interface to upload, validate, and distribute metadata of GNSS stations (such as site logs). It provides an interactive web portal (https://gnss-metadata.eu) as well as API (https://gnss-metadata.eu/site/api-docs).
M3G is currently under pre-operational testing within the European Plate Observing System (EPOS). Indeed, metadata of EPOS' GNSS stations flow from M3G to the EPOS-GNSS data portal where they are inserted in the EPOS delivery framework. In addition, M3G is used within EUREF to collect and distribute metadata of EPN as well as EPN densification stations.
With this questionnaire, we kindly ask you to provide feedback on M3G so that we can improve our future services. The questionnaire focuses presently only on the "usefulness" and "functionalities" of M3G, but not on the completeness of the (meta)data it is holding.
Based on your feedback, on March 10, 2021, a first report will be issued. All answers provided before that date would be greatly appreciated. However, the questionnaire will remain open after that date so that you can provide your feedback at any time.
You are free to skip any questions not relevant to you. When scores are requested, note that 1 is the worst score and 10 the best one. You can use 'N/A' if you do not want to answer the question or if the question is not relevant for you.
Many thanks in advance for your contribution!
