The client retains the professional services of the notary for the purposes of preparing any document and carrying out any process for the preparation of the following acts:
Professional services will be rendered in accordance with professional regulations and other generally accepted standards of practice.
1.1 Targeted professional services
The professional services concerned include:
1.1.1 Opening of the file, reception of documents and examination of the professional services to be provided;
1.1.2 Obtaining the information necessary for drafting acts and verifying the following documents, if applicable:
1.1.3 Preparation and drafting of the documents listed above; reception of signatures and preservation of documents according to the standards provided for by law;
1.1.4 Two consultations: the first is devoted to obtaining the information and explanations necessary for the drafting of acts. The second is devoted to the reading and signing of acts;
1.1.5 Preparation of an authentic copy by notarized document for the client;
1.1.6 Registration in the Register of testamentary dispositions of the Chambre des notaires du Québec;
1.1.7 Correspondence and telephone calls.
1.1.8 Include up to 3 particular bequests per will, charges apply for additional particular bequests.
2.1 The client agrees to pay the notary, for the services:
- Professional fees;
-Non-taxable disbursements (Registration fees for the register of testamentary dispositions of the Chambre des notaires du Québec);
- Applicable taxes.

- 1 will and 1 mandate : 425$
- 2 wills and 2 mandates : 795$
2.2 Additional fees and disbursements
The estimate of professional fees mentioned above is established on the assumption that no particular difficulty will hinder or hinder the procedures for executing the contract or that no additional service will be required by the client ( for example: missing a scheduled meeting, travel and additional meetings). The client can move an appointment anytime for 50$, or with less then 24h notice for 95$. The notary must notify the client as soon as possible of any additional sums payable. Additional fees will be billed at the flat rate for a chosen service or at an hourly rate of $175 (taxes and disbursements not included). The client understands that the final payment will be taken automatically using the same method of payment as originally used, during the last meeting or when the file is closed by the client or the notary.
3. PERSONAL AND CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION
The client expressly authorizes the notary or any person appointed by him to collect all personal information concerning him, insofar as it is necessary for the purpose of this file. This information can be obtained both from the customer and from third parties who may hold it.
