Would you like the Child Care Professional to live in the family home?
Please note that offering a live in option, this is not a license to use the professionals services any time you wish, the role is still subject to the BCEA and LRA, and overtime still applies.
It also does not mean you can offer far lower rates for the role. The maximum deducation allowed by the law is 10% of salary. In terms of the effect of this on the placement fee, please note the full month salary including the amount deducted should any deduction be made still forms part of the placement fee due. This will be discussed with the agency directly before your request is marketed to our internal team and externally. Mature candidates also generally prefer to live out, so give it some serious though before requesting this option.
Please Note: If you require more than 6 months service please request long term service instead of flexi service.
Have you added the details of all the children requiring care?
Would you prefer a weekly schedule or specific times on particular dates?
Please add the details for an emergency contact other than you, or your partner, in case there is an emergency with you or your partner while the carer is looking after your child or children.
As most of our service providers have regular jobs during ‘Priority’ times (Monday to Friday before 6pm) our candidate availability is limited during these times. Providing less than 2 days notice has a similar effect with far fewer candidates available in your area, pre-interviewed, assessed and checked for your convenience, with the correct skill set, preferred education level and experience to care for your children or other needs and available on short notice. We differentiate between a primary and priority booking with the priority booking rate attracting a higher booking rate than for a primary booking.

Select this option when your child or children is not registered with an online curriculum provider and is registered as a home schooling student with the department of education,
or you have a group of children in the same phase, from Reception to Senior phases but different grades,
or your child is registered with a curriculum provider like clonard or impaq, but you would like your child's lesson delivery to be designed to cater specifically to their learning preferences. This option offers the highest quality of education where an entirely individualised curriculum can be created to cater to the child's need.
For FET phase individual tutors or individual subject online tutors are required to deliver the curriculum due to the level of specialisation of subjects.
Select this option when you have a child or children who are registered with an online curruriculum provider e.g. Clonard, Impaq etc. and require an 'in-person' qualified person to deliver the curriculum. This is a cheaper option than a Home schooling teacher who designs the lessons, does marking etc outside of teaching hours. The child or children are registered to the Education Department through the curriculum provider. The lesson planning, while normally requiring some after-hour adjustment on the part of the home schooling facilitator, the curriculum, lessons and marking are delivered by the curriculum supplier.
Our one-on-one and group tutors will assist your child or small group of children in the comfort and security of your own home. Improve your child’s grades, increase their test and exam results and assist them to reach their full potential. We assist all age groups from Gr. R to Gr.12 and we aim to assist with any subject your child may need assistance with.
A special needs facilitator is a trained professional person who is contracted to assist a child, generally in a main stream school or special school environment, where the child has certain learning difficulties or special needs which are manageable with assistance. The facilitator may help the learner with specific academic tasks, as well as with social skills and behavioural issues.
Usually parents are given permission by the school their child attends to have a facilitator present with the child in class throughout the school day in order to assist the child to learn in the classroom environment at the same pace as those children who do not have learning or physical disabilities. In other parts of the world, facilitators are also called para-educators, special needs assistants, teaching assistants, para-educators or learning support assistants.
Online tutors provide additional support to children either following a traditional education or online curriculum and is especially beneficial for those children in Senior to FET phase where specialised education is required on the part of the tutor in order to deliver the content based on the subject.
Please note if you require education support for more than 5 children, please submit a second enquiry as the max allowed ratio by law is 1:5.
For Gr. 10 or higher please request tutoring services depnding on your child's subject choices.

Personal chefs are those hired by different families or clients. They prepare meals in the clients' home kitchens based on their needs and preferences. The personal chef will meet with a client and customize a meal plan by determining how often the service will be provided and the number of meals cooked each time. The client will typically choose various meals and sides from the chef's menu, then the chef will shop for all groceries, prepare the meal(s) on a designated "cook date" in the client's home, package the meals for the refrigerator or freezer, clean the kitchen and leave detailed reheating instructions. Some personal chefs also provide the same services for one-time events such as dinner parties, or special events. Many personal chefs also offer personalized cooking instruction in the privacy of the client's home, either one-on-one or in groups. When hiring a personal chef to provide either a packaged meal service or to cook for a dinner party, there is usually collaboration between the client and the chef to determine the menu, based on individual tastes and preferences as well as dietary restrictions. An estimate is then provided by the chef. Some chefs charge a fee based on the number of meals and servings prepared each time, and some charge an hourly fee plus the cost of food. Typically, the chef is given approval, a deposit, or an expense account for the menu.
A private chef on the other hand refers to a chef who is employed exclusively by one client, and in some cases lives in the client's home. In other words, this chef is hired by a specific entity and works for this person or organization, who pays the chef a salary. Private chefs see to the needs and desires of their employers, including nutrition. Any dietary restrictions of a family member must be adhered to. Private chefs work fairly regular hours on a schedule and prepares up to three meals a day.
Some private chefs don't have a culinary background, but are passionate home cooks with years of experience and knowledge. Depending on experience, this is usually the cheapest option in terms of private and personal chef services. The food may not be as aesthetically pleasing as when you hire a qualified chef, but in some cases it may be more hearty and wholesome, and generally will be inline with the meals prepared traditionally by people local to the area from which the cook is contracted.
