This is an agreement between the horse owner and the Lethbridge Therapeutic Riding Association (LTRA) to have the horse at LTRA facilities for evaluation. The horse will be located for evaluation at:24 205015 Hwy 512, Lethbridge County, Alberta, T1J 5N8.
This form is a "Try-out Release" for horses being assessed for the Lethbridge Therapeutic Riding Association (LTRA) riding program. The release allows authorised personnel of LTRA to catch, lead, ride and/or lunge the horse at the LTRA facility in an endeavor to follow accepted and safe practices in their assessment routine. Should a specific injury occur to the horse as a result of gross negligence of the authorised LTRA personnel, LTRA will pay veterinarian costs for the corrective measures, the cost of which are not to exceed $500 (five hundred dollars).
The try-out is for a period of a minimum of 1 week and will not exceed 6 weeks. If the horse is found unsuitable the owner has two weekends (Saturday / Sunday) to collect the horse. If unable to collect the horse, the owner shall pay a boarding fee of $10 daily.
