The Logan County Community Connection Fund consists of voluntary Operation Round Up® contributions from members of the Logan County Electric Cooperative on their electric bill. Operation Round Up® grants are awarded to organizations functioning within the Logan County Electric Cooperative service area, for projects that focus on:
Grant availability is promoted to area communities and organizations. The OPRU Board reviews and distributes funds quarterly on the first Monday in March, June, September and December.
Application deadline is the second Friday of the month preceding each quarterly board meeting.

It is the responsibility of all OPRU Directors to evaluate funding requests and allocate contributions to accomplish the purposes and intent of these guidelines.

*If your organization is not a registered non-profit or government agency, you may wish to have a non-profit orgovernment agency apply for your organization on your behalf.
I represent that I am authorized by the named organization to make this application on its behalf and to make the assertions in this certification and to bind the organization accordingly. The information contained in this statement is for the purpose of obtaining funding from the Logan County Community Connection Fund on behalf of the named organization. The undersigned understands that the information provided herein is used in deciding to grant funding, and represents and warrants that the Logan County Community Connection Fund may consider this statement as continuing to be true and correct until a written notice of change is provided. The Logan County Community Connection Fund is authorized to make all inquiries it deems necessary to verify the accuracy of the statements made herein. I understand that these funds will not be used to support any candidate for public office or any political purpose. I understand that the Logan County Community Connection Fund has the right to fully audit the use of this donation at any time. I also understand that the Logan County Community Connection Fund and Logan County Electric Cooperative, Inc. may use this application/project for publicity and promotional purposes, if approved.

financial statements for two previous years, a copy of your organization's by-laws, and a letter from the Internal Revenue Service stating your organization’s tax status to:

Applications must be received at the cooperative office by 5:00 p.m. of the second Friday of the month preceding the next scheduled OPRU Board meeting. Applicants will be notified of grant approval status as soon as practical.
