WIX

With Wix, we can publish and automatically sync products between your Wix store and BLB. 

Wix doesn't currently allow orders to be synced. So you will be able to view your orders from BLB in our Vendor Portal where you can add delivery tracking details for the customer.

To enable the inventory feed sync, you will need watch the 2 min video  using the link below, and follow the instructions to make adjustments to the back end of your Wix store:

SQUARESPACE INTEGRATION

We have two types of integration with Squarespace vendors:

  1. A full integration with the API, which allows for both inventory and order sync. This integration requires you to be on the Advanced Commerce plan on Squarespace.

  2. If you're not on the Advanced Commerce Plan, we can do a partial integration, which allows for publishing and syncing of inventory. This integration uses a free scraping method, but may not be supported on all plans and does not support order sync.  Instead you will manage the BLB orders from a BLB portal where your orders can be managed and stock levels adjusted.

Full Integration for 'Advanced Commerce' Planholders

This is easy! You just need to give us your API key. Here's how:

1. Navigate to Settings > Advanced > Developer API keys in the main menu in SquareSpace

2. Click on Generate key and give the integration a name (this is used for your own internal purposes).

3. For permissions, select read only for Products and Inventory and read and write for Orders. Then, generate the key.

4. Lastly, copy the key and paste it below

Partial Integration 

For this you need to enter your 'store URL' below. (This is the URL of the shop, not the URL of the site).

To locate your store URL :

  1. In your SquareSpace account, click  on the arrow that's on the top-right when editing the shop.

For the partial integration to work, vendors will need to create products in SquareSpace under the Inventory section. If products use a different method (such as a standalone page with static content), we may not be able to sync the information in which case we will give you a spreadsheet to put your products into.

  • Re configure your store using Inventory method; or
  • Sync manually using our BLB Vendor Portal

The net effect will make little difference to you operationally as neither will let you sync orders directly to your store. Inventory Method will be easier to import but you may not want the bother of re-jigging your products!

Integration using BLB Vendor Portal

BLB will automatically sync products and orders to a portal you can access.  

BLB can integrate with multiple types of e-commerce platforms, but if your are using a custom system or one that we don't support, then we will onboard you using our Vendor Portal.

It is important to note that BLB cannot automate order routing and inventory sync directly to the stores of vendors from unsupported platforms. Instead, the following will take place:

  • Vendors will operate through a web based Vendor Portal. When you are added to BLB you will receive a login URL to the portal.
  • You will receive email notifications whenever an order including your items is placed in our store
  • You can view the orders directly from our portal
  • You mark the orders as fulfilled and add tracking details within the portal

How it works

  1. You enter your products into a spreadsheet using the columns we give you in a template. It can be either Excel or Google.
  2. We upload this to the the marketplace
  3. You get a link to the vendor portal with username and password 
  4. You do a test purchase from BLB and view the order in the vendor portal.

  1. Manage orders
  2. Enter tracking details
  3. See your payments and invoices
  4. Manage returns and refunds
  5. Adjust inventory

Upload an Excel file

Instructions

Most ecommerce systems allow you to export your product inventory into a csv or similar file.

As a minimum we require these attributes:

  • Product Title
  • Description
  • Variants e.g. colour, size
  • Prices for each variant
  • Quantity for each variant or product
  • Links to images of the product

In the event your export file doesn't include product image links, you may need to place the URL of your product photos directly into a spreasheet cell.

To do this go to your store website, hover over the target image, right click and select "Copy image address".  Then simply paste this URL into the cell of the images column in the spreadsheet

Payment

In order to receive your money from BLB you will need to set up an account with Stripe. This enables us to automate the money transfer.  It is very easy and costs nothing to set up.

Invoices

We are collecting the customer payment on your behalf.  As such you will receive TWO INVOICES from BLB:

  1. A copy of the customer Sales Invoice detailing the total (gross) amount paid by the customer for the purchase inc any shipping (invoiced as if from your business name to the customer)
  2. BLB commission charge + transaction fee we are collecting on your behalf (invoiced by BLB to you)

You will also receive a periodic statement showing donations you've made to charity

The PAYMENT you will receive will be the balance of (1) less (2) less 10% donation, i.e. the "net" amount.

VAT?

BLB is currently not VAT registered.  If your business is VAT registered it is your responsibility to account for it based on the sales invoices received from us. We are unable to offer any advice on tax.

Click on Commerce > Inventory

 

Click Add new product on the top-right corner.

Integration using BLB Vendor Portal

BLB can integrate with multiple types of e-commerce platforms, but if your are using a custom system or one that we don't support, then we will onboard you using our Vendor Portal.

It is important to note that BLB cannot automate order routing and inventory sync directly to the stores of vendors from unsupported platforms. Instead, the following will take place:

  • Vendors will operate through a web based Vendor Portal. When you are added to BLB you will receive a login URL to the portal.
  • You will receive email notifications whenever an order including your items is placed in our store
  • You can view the orders directly from our portal
  • You mark the orders as fulfilled and add tracking details within the portal

How it works

  1. You enter your products into a spreadsheet using the columns we give you in a template. It can be either Excel or Google.
  2. We upload this to the the marketplace
  3. You get a link to the vendor portal with username and password 
  4. You do a test purchase from BLB and view the order in the vendor portal.

  1. Manage orders
  2. Enter tracking details
  3. See your payments and invoices
  4. Manage returns and refunds
  5. Adjust inventory

Most ecommerce systems allow you to export your product inventory into a csv or similar file.

As a minimum we require these attributes:

  • Product Title
  • Description
  • Variants e.g. colour, size
  • Prices for each variant

How to put links to your Product Images into a spreadsheet

In the event your export file doesn't include product image links, you may need to place the URL of your product photos directly into a spreasheet cell.

To do this go to your store website, hover over the target image, right click and select "Copy image address".  Then simply paste this URL into the cell of the images column in the spreadsheet

Payment

In order to receive your money from BLB you will need to set up an account with Stripe. This enables us to automate the money transfer.  It is very easy and costs nothing to set up.

Invoices

We are collecting the customer payment on your behalf.  As such you will receive TWO INVOICES from BLB:

  1. A copy of the customer Sales Invoice detailing the total (gross) amount paid by the customer for the purchase inc any shipping (invoiced as if from your business name to the customer)
  2. BLB commission charge + transaction fee we are collecting on your behalf (invoiced by BLB to you)

You will also receive a periodic statement showing donations you've made to charity

The PAYMENT you will receive will be the balance of (1) less (2) less 10% donation, i.e. the "net" amount.
