New candidate must provide the names of 2 referees who can give satisfactory written references. These should ideally be their previous employer, a former employer, former lecturer or school guidance teacher. If these are not available, then 2 personal referees may be used - they must have known the candidate for at least 2 years and not be related to them.
Upon leaving the employment for any reason, Smiley Stars Nursery is under no obligation to supply a reference but if one is to be given, the following information is to be shared
The start and end date of employment
Staff role and job title
Attendance and sickness record
Please provide us with your bank details to pay Salary into your account
Our nursery is very much part of the local community. We pride ourselves on the number of outside visitors we have to the nursery and the positive feedback we receive about the friendly atmosphere and positive ethos at Smiley Stars. As with all places of work, people will express opinions and make judgements as they see fit. This agreement is intended to help you understand how to protect the friendly and agreeable atmosphere we have, whilst also being aware of the need for professionalism.
It is important to respect and recognise the trust that is placed in you when you were invited into our Nursery as an employee.
