Who you are
Cognito Forms is looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead all aspects of Human Resources for our growing organization.
You’ll partner closely with company leadership to develop and implement HR initiatives while overseeing the day-to-day HR function. This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role for someone who enjoys balancing strategic initiatives with day-to-day HR operations.
You’ll play a key role in shaping the employee experience, strengthening our culture, and supporting the company’s continued growth.
What you will be responsible for
- Lead the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, employee development, and offboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies, create job descriptions, manage interviews, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.
- Administer employee benefits, including annual open enrollment, vendor relationships, and employee education.
- Manage payroll administration and employee data, ensuring accurate records and compliance.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate HR policies, employee handbook updates, and employment documentation.
- Advise managers and employees on employee relations matters, performance concerns, policy interpretation, and employment best practices.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across a multi-state workforce.
- Lead compensation initiatives, including salary benchmarking, annual compensation reviews, and market analysis.
- Manage the company’s performance review process and support manager development through coaching and training.
- Analyze HR metrics and provide reporting and recommendations to leadership.
- Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, company events, and internal communications.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, systems, and the overall employee experience.
What you should bring to the table
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience with broad HR generalist responsibilities.
- Experience supporting a multi-state workforce and maintaining employment law compliance.
- Strong knowledge of recruiting, employee relations, benefits administration, compensation, and performance management.
- Experience administering payroll, employee benefits, and HR systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
