Owning and evolving the company’s trusted reporting, semantic, and “gold” data model layer, aligned with medallion architecture.
-
Building governed, reusable datasets and semantic models that ensure consistent, auditable KPIs.
-
Translating business questions into clear metric definitions, technical logic, and validated outputs.
-
Developing and maintaining dashboards and reports in Power BI.
-
Enabling self-service analytics through structured datasets, documentation, and standards.
-
Identifying and resolving data quality issues across source systems.
-
Partnering with leadership and Product Management to support data-driven decisions.
-
Supporting data transformation and reporting workflows using Microsoft Fabric.
-
Establishing and promoting BI best practices for governance, documentation, performance, and trust.
What you should bring to the table
-
Strong SQL skills for data transformation, modeling, and analysis.
-
Experience with data modeling (dimensional modeling, semantic layers, KPI design).
-
Hands-on experience with modern business intelligence and data lakehouse tools.
-
Experience transforming data using Spark, PySpark, SQL, or similar tools.
-
Experience with major cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
-
Experience implementing and developing a medallion architecture.
-
Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
-
Strong understanding of data quality, validation, and governance practices.
-
Ability to translate business questions into technical solutions.
-
Familiarity with C# for integrations, automation, or internal tooling is a plus.
