How It Works

  1. Log in to Cognito Forms
    1. Open the form you want to track
    2. Go to Settings → Analytics & Tracking
  2. Enable Google Analytics integration
    1. Toggle Google Analytics to “On”
  3. Enter GA4 measurement ID
    1. Paste your GA4 Measurement ID (format: G-XXXXXXXXXX) into the field
    2. If needed, create a GA4 property in your Google Analytics account
  4. Save and publish your form
    1. Apply changes and publish the form to activate tracking
  5. Test tracking in GA4
    1. Open your form and fill it out in test mode
    2. Use GA4 DebugView or Realtime view to confirm that events like page view and form submission are received
