How It Works

  1. Log in to Cognito Forms
    1. Select the form to integrate
    2. Navigate to “Payment Settings”
  2. Choose PayPal as payment processor
    1. Click “Add Payment Account”
    2. Select “PayPal”
  3. Connect your PayPal account
    1. Enter your PayPal email address
    2. Authorize via PayPal OAuth (follow on-screen prompts)
    3. Confirm business verification steps in PayPal and return to Cognito Forms
  4. Configure payment options
    1. Enable desired payment methods (PayPal accounts, credit/debit cards, Venmo, Pay Later installments)
  5. Save & publish form
    1. Save changes to your form
    2. Click Publish to activate payment processing
  6. Run a payment test
    1. Submit test entries through your published form
    2. Verify successful transactions via Cognito Forms’ Entries page and PayPal account dashboard
