How It Works

  1. Connect Stripe to Cognito Forms
    1. Log in to your Cognito Forms account
    2. Navigate to your organization’s settings and select “Payment Accounts”
    3. Click “Add Payment Account” and choose Stripe.
    4. Follow the prompts to connect your Stripe account
  2. Enable Apple Pay in Stripe
    1. Log in to your Stripe Dashboard
    2. Go to “Settings” > “Payment methods”
    3. Under “Wallets,” locate Apple Pay and toggle it on
    4. Ensure that Cognito Forms is selected as your platform
  3. Register Your Domain (if embedding the form)
    1. If your form is embedded using the Seamless embed option, register your website domain in Stripe to use Apple Pay
    2. In Stripe Dashboard, under “Settings” > “Payment methods,” expand the Apple Pay section
    3. Click “Configure” and select “Add new domain”
    4. Enter your website domain and complete the file verification process
  4. Configure Payment Settings in Cognito Forms
    1. In your form builder, click on the “Payment” section
    2. Ensure that Stripe is selected as the payment processor
    3. Apple Pay will automatically appear as a payment option for eligible users
  5. Embed Form with Payment Permissions (if applicable)
    1. If embedding the form using an iframe, include the allow=“payment” attribute in your embed code:

  6. Test the Integration
    1. Access your form using a Safari browser on an Apple Pay-enabled device.
