How It Works

  1. Log in to Zapier
    1. Access your Zapier dashboard
  2. Create a new Zap
    1. Click “Make a Zap”
  3. Set Cognito Forms as the trigger
    1. Choose “Cognito Forms” → “New Entry” or “Entry Updated”
    2. Connect and select your form
  4. Add WhatsApp Notifications as the action
    1. Search for “WhatsApp Notifications” and select “Send WhatsApp Message”
    2. Connect your WhatsApp Notifications account with API credentials
  5. Configure message details
    1. Set “To Number” by mapping the form’s phone field
    2. Write the message body, inserting form field values as needed
  6. Test the Zap
    1. Submit a sample form entry or update
    2. Confirm receipt of the WhatsApp message with accurate content
  7. Activate the Zap
    1. Turn on the Zap to enable live WhatsApp notifications
