What security protections apply when connecting to the Cognito Forms API?

API traffic is encrypted over TLS 1.2+ and authenticated using API keys. Stored entry data and uploaded files are encrypted at rest, and additional security features include protected fields and two-factor authentication for accounts and organizations.
