We’ve recently made some updates to how our entry exports work.

If you’re accustomed to creating Excel spreadsheets from your form entry data, you’ll notice a few small (but powerful) differences:

  • More detailed timestamps
Instead of a single timestamp, each entry will now have date created, date updated, and date submitted.

  • Simplified entry IDs
Entry IDs will no longer contain the form ID. For example, an entry IDs that was “33-10” will now appear as just “10”. This applies to all entries, including those referenced in Lookup fields.

  • Unique IDs in repeating sections
Exports will no longer show item numbers within repeating sections. Instead, each item in a repeating section will have unique IDs to ensure accuracy. Please note that these IDs are only unique within a repeating section, and not necessarily unique across different form entries.

Other than that, your form data will export as it always has.
