Save Time Moving Forms and Creating Data Sets For Lookup fields.

Everyone on our Pro plan and above can now easily import entries to their Cognito Forms account.

This new feature makes it simple to move forms and entries between accounts, import form data from other online form builders, and populate data sets for use with Lookup fields.

Move forms and entries between accounts

People often ask us how to best move a form and all its entries from one organization to another within Cognito Forms. Now it’s a simple three step process.

Just download the entries, share the form to the organization you want it moved to, and then upload the entries back into the form at its new location.

Import entries from other form builders

For those who may be new to Cognito Forms, or have a number of forms with another form builder, the new feature works very much the same.

Simply recreate the form using the same fields, create an import template based on your new form, and then copy the exported data from your old form into the appropriate columns on the template.

Upload those entries into the new form and you’re done.

Quickly populate data sets for Lookup fields

Lookup fields are as powerful as the data sets they reference. Now, building those datasets is easy. Rather than creating entries one at a time, you can create an Excel template and upload all the entries at once.

These new capabilities help you not only use Cognito Forms for collecting data, but for creating valuable user interfaces that automate tasks and create greater efficiencies for your organization.
