This week, we had the opportunity to connect with Megan Mosley, Marketing and Operations Specialist at Referral Rock. Referral Rock has been a customer of Cognito Forms for almost a year now, and they’ve created a variety of forms for their business; including referral program planners, basic sales question forms, and even a guest post submission form for their blog.
1. Tell us a little bit about your business!
Megan: Referral Rock provides online referral marketing software. We believe every business has the potential to increase word of mouth. Our software helps unlock that potential by making it easy for customers to refer businesses. We work well for any business, and automate the entire referral process from enrolling customers and partners, capturing leads, and issuing rewards. This allows the business to scale and consistently measure the success of their referral program(s).
2. What were some of the challenges that your business faced before finding Cognito Forms?
Megan: We had the challenge of keeping track of new customer information; but more importantly, we needed a way of easily obtaining new customer and lead information. We needed something for record keeping, and making sure we asked all the necessary qualifying questions.
We also wanted a way to internally keep track of referral programs and referral examples. The main need, for this, was to find a way to keep this information as consistent as possible, and to also have an organized way of collecting and storing information.
3. Why did you choose Cognito Forms, and how has it changed the way you do business?
Megan: We liked the appeal of being able to create completely customized forms. We really wanted a professional looking form that we could easily set up to include radio buttons, drop down options and fill in the blank options:
We started using Cognito Forms as a way of capturing some initial sales questions. We have a standard set of qualifying questions to help us determine if a prospect is going to be a good fit, as well as allowing us to better understand their unique context. The answers differ for everyone, but there are certain characteristics that are very familiar to the companies we work with.
Cognito Forms allows us to quickly record information for each new prospect and then integrate it with our CRM. We have since started using forms to help us track multiple aspects of our business - even guest post submissions and other marketing efforts.
